Vietnam Votes

Recently, Vietnam had its annual election day on May 22.   Not many people turn up to vote in Vietnam (not surprising in a one-party system with limited choice), but supposedly, there was a record number of voters this year.  Of course, this fact was reported by the strictly-government-run newspapers, so who knows if it is actually true?  In any case, Vietnam did its best to encourage votership via a nationwide poster campaign.  The posters are styled after traditional Vietnamese communist propaganda posters which, I think, are really cool looking.

Finally, here is one of the many voting stations on May 22.
It's decorated in colorful flags and blasts festive music in an attempt to lure in voters.
